Are you relaxed, confident, and clear at work, every day? Or are you, more often than not, laying awake at night because of “people issues”? Issues, you know, are taking away from your mission. Keywords: womens life coaching, woman empowerment coach, life coach for women, life coaching for women
Are you carrying everything?
You are a resilient, capable, mission-driven leader who is used to taking care of business. On the outside, others look to you for help, support, strategy, scheduling, and sometimes things that feel more like “therapy.” Between your mission, your people, your family, and community, you are committed. Strong. Dedicated.
On the inside, however, you might be second-guessing, losing sleep, absorbing too much pressure, work, and emotional labor. Your dedication might be running you into the ground, with your position feeling so much heavier than it should. You look around, wondering how other leaders seem so relaxed, have time for things other than their to-do list, and are making an impact. You wonder: How do they do it all? What’s the secret?
Here’s the answer: they’re not doing it alone.
And you don’t have to anymore, either. You deserve to support and be supported.
There’s a way to build your capacity and steadiness. To be that relaxed, resourced leader. And it all starts with clarity.
here’s a quick story…
I started my life coaching journey at a critical time in my professional career as a new and first-time director of an organization. Which came with a tremendous amount of purpose, social impact and questions: Who am I as a leader? Do I deserve to be here? What are my strengths? What is my value? How can I be a better version of myself?
Heidi gave me the tools and the language to articulate that which has always been within me as well as to discover what I have the potential to be.
After coaching with Heidi, I know I have the resources and wisdom to strive to be my most authentic self and to achieve my goals. Does that mean I always will? No. Does that mean I won’t? Also, no. What’s important is that I know how and where to look within and try. Thank you, Heidi, for seeing my gifts and for your never ending encouragement. Thank you for sharing your knowledge and light. You truly are a joy. ❤️
Michelle G., Executive Director
Leadership Coaching may be for you if…
You are a woman director, nonprofit executive director, senior leader, or rising professional who is responsible for people, outcomes, culture, decisions, and emotional complexity.
How many of these can you relate to?
- I am carrying everything on my shoulders; I am stretched thin and need to find a better way.
- I need to stop second-guessing myself; I’m qualified, but I don’t feel it.
- I want to lead calmly when everyone is looking to me; Inside, i’m anything but!
- I am tired of being the steady one for everyone else; I don’t know what else to do!
- I need more confidence in hard conversations; It feels easier to bypass the hard stuff sometimes…
- I’m ready to narrow my work down to what I can do best; what do I do with the rest of it?
- I need clarity about what will actually help me lead well; I’m tired of trying to be like other leaders and want to lean in to what makes me a great leader.
If so, Leadership Coaching will be effective for you. This is not generic self-care coaching. This is leadership capacity work for women who are ready to lead with confidence, clarity and calm.
What coaching helps you build
In this coaching container, we work on the inner and practical capacities that help you lead with more clarity, capacity, and calm.
Authentic Confidence
We identify your strengths, values, voice, and self-worth so your confidence is not dependent on external validation, constant approval, or getting every decision exactly right.
Adaptable Leadership
We strengthen your ability to respond with flexibility instead of perfectionism, over-control, people-pleasing, or shutdown.
Emotional Steadiness
We practice noticing, naming, and regulating emotions so you can lead with calm instead of absorbing everyone else’s urgency, tension, or expectations.
Sustainable Capacity
We look honestly at your load, your stress patterns, your support systems, and where resilience has become over-responsibility.
The goal is not to make you stronger so you can carry more.
The goal is to help you understand yourself more deeply and become supported enough to become a stronger leader.
What is coaching?
Professional coaching is a collaborative process that helps you clarify what matters, see patterns, access your strengths, and take aligned action. The International Coaching Federation defines coaching as partnering with clients in a thought-provoking and creative process that helps them maximize personal and professional potential.
In our work together, I am not here to diagnose you, fix you, or tell you how to run your organization.
I am here as a trained coach, experienced facilitator, and trusted thinking partner who helps you hear yourself more clearly, lead more intentionally, and build the confidence and capacity your role requires.
Coaching is especially useful when…
Leadership Coaching is often a strong fit during seasons of:
- new or expanded leadership responsibility
- board, staff, donor, or stakeholder pressure
- feedback that rattles your confidence
- burnout, resentment, or emotional overload
- perfectionism or decision loops
- conflict avoidance or over-explaining
- organizational transition or culture strain
- feeling like everyone relies on you, but you have too little support
These are not just personal challenges. They affect leadership presence, communication, retention, decision-making, and organizational health.

Each session includes reflection, coaching questions, practical tools, and clear next steps.
Organization-paid coaching
Leadership coaching can often be supported through professional development funds, leadership development budgets, grant-funded training, board-approved support, or consulting-to-coaching transitions.
For organizations, this work supports:
- leadership sustainability
- emotional intelligence
- retention, trust, and engagement
- communication
- decision-making
- confidence under pressure
- culture and team health
If your organization may pay for coaching, I can provide a brief description of the coaching goals and structure for approval.
Continuing Your Momentum
Leadership growth rarely happens in one dramatic moment. It unfolds through reflection, courage, practice, and the ongoing support to stay grounded when leadership gets complex.
After an initial coaching sprint, ongoing leadership coaching is available for women directors, executive directors, and mission-driven leaders who want continued space to think clearly, strengthen confidence, navigate hard conversations, and lead with more capacity and calm.
Imagine leading with clarity, calm, and courage—without carrying the weight of every decision alone. If you’re ready for that kind of leadership, I’d love to partner with you.

Testimonials
I was fairly unhappy with my situation at work. I was feeling very disengaged, like I didn’t have a lot of influence, was very ineffective, questioning myself and was looking for someone to help provide some support as I planned an exit. I’ve been at my position for 25 years in the same department.
My experience working with Heidi was so positive. She brings out the best in you. I felt like she cares about you as a person. She is a great listener. And the methods that she used were so effective. And actually the funny thing about it is when we got to the end of our coaching relationship, I was prepared and excited about returning to the organization that I originally had enlisted her help in trying to leave.

I have been encouraged by her deep desire to care for others, empower their personal growth, and bring warmth and humor into any situation. I highly recommend Heidi as a coach to walk with you through your season of struggle and know that she will help guide you towards finding joy, passion, and self-discovery.
