Origins of HerStory Circle
Every month, over six years, I took part in a storytelling group. Sometimes with a microphone, sometimes over zoom. Each month, I unearthed a different piece of my journey. While I felt Impostor Syndrome (a lot) and debated hiding in the bathroom (even more) I kept coming back. I kept speaking my truth.
This was challenging for me because I told my truth during a time I call my decade in Life’s Fun House. Divorce. Depression. Anxiety. Mid-Life Awakening. Unemployment. And I kept showing up. And sharing.
And, in the heart of the pandemic shutdown, I found Joy.
What happened? Through my journey, I ended up unearthing who I was, what my gifts are, and what I am here to do. Thanks in part to random, sometimes silly, stories. (Like a story about all of my first kisses, starting from braces 😬 )
In my career, I became educated in transformational workshops, speaking, emotional intelligence, and I blend that with almost two decades of experience in relationship building. To bring you a safe, supported women’s group that brings you Confidence, Clarity, and Community.
You never know what will happen. Who you will heal, who you will be, until you try.

Ready for the That’s What She Said Stage?
Get a chance to share your story with a microphone in another kind of supported women’s group…at the That’s What She Said 2024 Power of Storytelling Conference. This casual story showcase will have people looking for future storytellers for their larger stages!
Here’s what you need to do
- Make sure your October 18th is free from 4-7.
- Come up with an idea – record a 90 second intro to you and the idea(s).
- Register for the showcase (headshot and 90 second intro needed)
- Register for the conference
- Book your free 1:1 session with me (they will send you the link)
- Practice and relax – you’ll do great!
